Lena Kitch

    GARDEN CITY- Lena Kitch, died Thursday, March 14 at the St. Catherine's Hospital in Garden City after a long illness. Born Nov. 22, 1889, in Allen County, KY she lived in the Larned community, until 1981, when she moved to Garden City. She. was married to Harry E. Kitch Sept. 1, 1915 in Rozel. She was a retired licensed practical nurse, and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Garden City. She is survived by a son, Samuel Duane Kitch, Kinsley, six grandchildren, one step-grandchild, 20 great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.

    Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16 at the First Assembly of God Church in Garden City, with the Rev. Paul Bryant officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Larned Cemetery, with the Rev. Leland Dement officiating. The casket will be open at the cemetery. Friends may call between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Friday, March 15, at the Haskell County Funeral Home in Sublette.
