Mark married to Esther Libby at Raton, New Mexico, Jan. 7, 1916.
Mark has farmed, raised wheat and stock, near Wilmore, Kansas. He had 3
years college work, 2 years at Emporia Presbyterian and 1 year at
Manhattan. He taught 1 term of school. *******
Josie married to Eugene Stanford Lehman on Thursday, Sept. 4, 1919. Josie graduated from Presbyterian College in Emporia; 4 year course. She taught school 4 years. Eugene 17 years. They taught at Clyde, Kansas. Then Halstead. Then the next year Gene worked on Master's Degree at Chicago University and Josie taught in a suburb, Cicero. The next year he taught a group of "World War" veterans in Chicago. The next 5 years, he was Sup't. at Glasco [perhaps this is supposed to be Glasgow, Mo. - JBG]; and for the next 9 years has been Sup't. of high school at Kirkwood, Mo. (50 teachers and cafeteria under his supervision - 1100 students.) ********
Ned married to Mary Kimmel, daughter of H. H. Kimmel of Larned - June 20, 1917. Ned was accidentally killed while repairing a windmill on the Grandpa Kitch farm, north west of Larned - June 10, 1932. He had 2 years of College work at Washburn, Topeka. He had lived in, or near, Larned all his life. |
