SummerArts

Children, Toddlers & Teens

A daily summer program of recreation and arts instruction for children ages 4-14.

Dates: June 28 - July 23, 1999
Hours: 9:00 AM - Noon, Monday - Friday
(extended day option: Noon - 2:00 PM)

Registration begins in February 1999. There is a 10% discount for registration prior to March 31, 1999.

The Music Center offers a unique, culturally enriching summer arts program for children, with daily classes in music, visual arts, creative movement, dramatics and dance. Special activities include a visit by a professional performance troupe, a field trip to a cultural event in the performing arts, and a festival evening for participants and their families featuring songs, dances, dramatics, and artwork of the students.

A parent/preschooler program is offered for two and three year olds, Children and parents will enjoy creative movement, art, singing and snack.

A counselor-in-training program is offered for students ages 11-14, who will have their own music, art, drama and dance classes, in addition to assisting with SummerArts activities.
