I looked really forward to hearing this CD and to my surprise, when I arrived home from Europe, what was waiting on my table for me? This CD! Okay, the Statue Factor are "interesting" and I love every minute of it. Mod/rock/punk I guess. Actually, it doesn't stray too far from Sonic Youth with an organ. I love the Introduction, and I also really enjoy the drumming in "Popular Girl Syndrome". Inside the CD they stress their role as "scene stratifiers" which is really true. The Statue Factor offer a style of music to Boston that can only be described as various...a little bit of almost everything. Do yourself a favor and check this out.
