Another worthwhile release from a Chicago band on Chicago's Southern Records. Sweep the Leg Johnny are quite different in the fact that they have a saxaphone player. Only thing is that this isn't a ska band! Five songs and over forty minutes. That's what makes this CD different and good. I can't compare it to anybody else, but it has the definite slow to steady to rock to slow music sound going for it. Artsy and it never gets boring. Each song has like four songs in it. "Early October" has the best intro and the lyrics come in during the right part of the song. I like the insert layout too. It has a picture on every other page and the lyrics look "oh so emo". Boy oh boy is this good. Check it out sometime.
