Master Kaleidoscope Artists: Peter and Skeeter DeMattia

Peter and Skeeter DeMattia: Here we have a unique pair. Do not let their appearance fool you, as they really can be nice folks. While they started out as collectors of fine kaleidosocpes, they have moved to now producing fine kaleidoscopes. Their stained glass scopes are nice, but their metal sculptural scopes are their best works. They sell scopes under the name Originals by Skeeter, but tend to use that name for their stained glass scopes.

Gothic: This kaleidoscope from 1993 or 1994 is one of their metal sculpture scopes.
