Healing Power of God

Some do not believe that miracles still take place today, as they did in the bible. I happen to believe in God given miracles to those who believe. I have been praying for several from the Lord for sometime now.

One was for my oldest sister who was to have balloon surgery done for her heart. She had four EKGS all evidence of a problem to several blockages to her heart.

Many people were praying for her to be healed including myself. We were sending up fervent prayers on her behalf. Different churches had her on their prayer lists as well as a wonderful Christian couple in Idaho. I can think of names in Oklahoma, Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina that were praying for her. God has honored our prayer. He deserves our honor and praise for the wonderful work He has done within her.

I was awakened over and over the night before her balloon surgery was to take place. I felt the Lord leading me to pray for her healing to be made manifest. I would be satisfied and then I would find myself awake once more to lift her name to the Father as He led by His Spirit. I have learned that the Holy Spirit controls my life and I must always listen to His commands without questioning or doubting. Each time I would fall asleep with the assurance that all would be well with her surgery.

The next morning at breakfast with my husband, I shared how the Lord had me to pray several times during the night for my sister. I went about my day with the assurance that I had listened and obeyed His command. I waited for the Lords answer and His will to be done in her life. He answers as He wills our petitions.

It was a call that made me go in the next room and shout to the Lord with praise. I jumped straight up into the air with glee and praised the Lord. My husband answered the phone and my brother-in-law told him they could find nothing and that he was to go and get her at 6:00p.m. from the hospital. I E-mailed her to tell her I was praising God for her. I then was led to call her and hear the good news directly from her so I could praise God to the fullest in this story that He might receive the glory that He so richly deserves. She had been the recipitant of Gods healing power. I believe God used her body to bring glory to himself and His healing power.

She told me the doctor seemed taken back when he could not find any blockage at all. She said, I am elated. She told me that she said to them, She had a little sister praying. I believe it was the prayers of Gods children that broke the blockage to her heart. I believe God did just that and no one else. Hallelujah!

The evidence was there from the EKGS and God intervened to clear any obstruction. I believe this will increase her faith tremendously in the Lord. I believe that we are to acknowledge the healing power of the Lord and magnify His Name together for the good thing He has done in her body.

I was so blessed and thanked God over and over for this miracle and His blessings on her life. I let the churches know that were praying for her the good news. That same evening there were many praising God for healing her body. I know that we are to pray for one another that we may be healed. We did what He said, and what He said He did. Praise His Holy Name. The lady I called at one church to share was diagnosed with cancer she had also received a praise report. They could find no cancer with her as well that day. Two miracles in one day? OH Thank You God.

Many praying and praising, hand in hand, heart to heart felt prayers which I know and saw tears shed on her behalf from me as well as others were honored by the Lord. God, we thank You that You hear us when we pray.

Elijah in the bible prayed that it would not rain. It did not rain for three years. He was a earthly man just like us. He then prayed for it to rain. I Kings 18

It was Gods will, idea, timing that a human being be used to pray such as Elijah to birth the rain. He was in travailing prayer. James 5:17,18 clarifies the effectual fervent prayer of this man on the earth stopped and brought the rain. God chose to work through this mans prayers as He does through each and every one of us. We are led by His spirit to pray for one another and circumstances in our lives that we need help from Him and Him alone. The Lord speaks to our spirit and therefore He initiates the need and urgency for us to step out in faith and ask Him for the answer to our problem. Elijah prayed 7 times as he persevered for the answer from the Lord. Seven is the biblical number of completion. Keep on praying and persevering until the answer comes. We have not because we ask not. We ask that Your will Father would be done in our lives as we obey Your leading.

The angel Gabriel was sent out immediately after Daniel started praying. It took 21 days to penetrate the warfare in the heavens to let David know by the angel Gabriel Your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words.{ Daniel 10:12} God can not answer the promises to His children if they are not obedient in prayer and ask so that He can fulfill His promises. We as Christians need to know the importance of our prayers to the Father. It sets the blessings in motion by the Father as He waits for us to ask and depend on Him for every source of our lives. No human can fulfill the needs of us as the creator himself on our behalf. He knows every little artery, blood vessel, every thing about our makeup. Why? He created us to His specification in His image and breathed His life into us. He knows every little detail about you. He even knows when one hair falls from your head and the number that you lose from day to day.

I trust fully in the healing power of God and His will to be accomplished for me and others as I call on His name in reverence in my faith. I know that faith without works is dead. If I say I know He can heal me and my works will testify of my faith that I believe and receive His will to heal me. I then begin receiving His words into my mind and body for healing to take place. It was those stripes that He received for my healing that I may call on in Him in faith and believing that He can do it if He chooses to do so.

I will not command or demand him to heal me, I reverence Him to the utmost that He only wants me to ask in faith without wavering and I accept His ultimate decision for my healing. I ask in the power of His Son Jesus Name who so willingly accomplished my healing through His stripes He received for me. So God I believe in Your miraculous healings, your encouraging us to pray and ask, and praising You for however You choose to answer Your children. We accept Your wisdom in all things. Let us never give up in praying but to continue if fervent prayer and supplications to the Father in the Name of Jesus.

We will always except Your Will even if it is not to heal us at the time being. We have already obtained the healing before we ask. We have a promise of a perfect body in the afterlife with You. It was a promise of eternal and Ultimate Healing that we obtain in eternal life with You.

A little lady had a terminal illness. She was asked, Are you worried about your illness being terminal? She thought for a moment and answered, Arent we all terminal and going to die sometime?

John Wesley said, God does nothing on the earth save in answer to believing prayer. He waits for us to pray so that He may answer us in His wisdom. I believe prayers do make a big impact and difference on the outcome of our situations. How many blessings have we missed because we forgot to pray and wait for His answer? God shapes and forms the world by our prayers. Pray with great faith and nothing wavering. See Miracles of God transpire. Small or large acknowledge all by giving Him praise and glory. Amen and Amen
