We're back.
We're beyond tired. I wrote all sorts of stuff during the very
long flight back, but I am too tired to put it up here
immediately. So stay tuned.
The short version is
that we had an unbelievably wonderful time. We have all sorts of
hotel and restaurant news to report, for people lucky enough to be
planning a trip to Italy. We have all sorts of new Sacred Images
merchandise. We have many funny stories. (Like this
conversation between me and a concierge in Venice: Me: "Do
you know which boat goes to that church across the canal?"
Concierge: "Which church?" Me: "I don't
know the name, but it's the really old one." Concierge:
(with great disgust and rolled eyes) "Madame...
" The church was St. George's, if anyone is
interested.)
I have many wonderful
pictures to scan. Trust me. Come back in a couple of days.
The Rome Report will be here. It will be long and it will be
colorful, but it will not begin do justice to the experience.
