WHAT DO I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH WITH MY PAGE?


I really want to help people. Trying to be noble..Nahh

Just the truth! I have had a lot of setbacks in life and
thought if I shared some, maybe, just maybe, I can help.
Like most people I needed a final closure to some of
my problems, so I studied and I learned how. If you have
lost a loved one, let's say spouse, child, dear friend, or even
your pet,can be overwhelming. Hearing how others have handled the same
problem, will show, we have all been there and are not unique.
WAIT ...WE ARE UNIQUE, just, NOT our problems...
I want to set up a bulletin board, chat room, and email
service so you can email me and ask questions. If I don't
know the answer, I will try to find it for you.
I feel finding the internet saved my sanity, and life.
Sure, there are bad guys out here, as in any town in the world.
However, there are more good than bad. People who have
given of their self unselfishly just to help someone.
When my husband died I thought I would too, then I
found the internet. It was like walking down a small town street
and no need to be frightened, or worry. I found the help I needed
and I want to share it. If I can help one person,
then I feel my page has accomplished what I want....
Am I a Doctor? ..no....but my credentials are............LIFE,
A lot of hard knocks, A lot of help and finally some closures......
I am going to try and bring to you all the help you ask for and more.

TIRED OLD SAYING BUT TRUE!!!!!
Yes,been there,done that, and got the tee shirt to prove it,

is a tired old saying,but hey....sometimes don't you feel like
that? Well, one of my reasons for this page, I felt I was
alone, and no where to turn, then I got a computer and found
the net. I was surfing one nite and came upon this site "24
hours in cyber space" They were having a contest and you
could write in so many words what the net did for you. I had
a half hour before the deadline, so I wrote from my heart.
Well, I sent it off and forgot about it, and one day I got
an email telling me I won 1st prize, and a lot of prizes. I
thought it a gimmick but I filled and notorized what they wanted.
At the bottom of the page I will put a link to them and let you
see how marvelous they are, and my story is there and it will
give you a little more insight to me.
I will start making my page over this is just to let you know I am here.

What is Transverse Myelitis?
get this gear! Transverse Myelitis is a spinal cord injury. It can render you paralyzed, as my daughter. She is paralyzed from the breast down. How does it happen? they don't know. Is there a cure for it....NO! We have one Doctor who heads a study group at Johns Hopkins Medical Center....his name is Dr Douglas Kerr. His group is the only one in the world doing research for T.M. Very Fortunately for my daughter she has an appointment with him and I sure hope he can wave a magic wand for her, and let her have some movement back. What does it do? It eats away the myelin covering on the nerves of the spinal cord and leaves you paralized. It is so hard to get help for it as Doctors do not even know what it is. Not all doctors of course.
