I started in the miniatures in 1987, with me buying my first colt in 1988, that started my
adventure in the world of Miniature Horses.
Like most people said, they are like Lays
Potato Chips, you can't have just one and so I started building my herd.
Later in 1988
I purchased my first stallion named NFCS Crimson Apache a beautiful 30.50" black and
white pinto with two big blue eyes. Crimson was shown by me for several years. He won
Multi Reserve National Championships. He also placed many times in Top Ten, and was
even a Top Ten Single Pleasure Driving Stallion. Along with him, I also bought my first
mare, which I still have to this date. She has produced some of my finest show horses.
Her granddaughter is my first Top Ten placed Senior Mare at AMHA Nationals. I then
purchased a 31" coal black Rowdy son from the NFC Dispersal Sale in 1993 and he is
now our main herdsire. We now have a lot of the famous bloodlines in our small herd
and that includes Orion, Rowdy, Del Apache, Broken Lance, Bond, Komoko and even
Buckeroo, to mention a few, with too many more others to list.
We breed for conformation and with a little added bonus of color in our foals. We are striving for perfection with foals in our breeding program with the limited selection of mares and stallions we have. Our motto at the farm is we produce QUALITY FOALS NOT QUANTITY. We only have a limited foal crop each year so our mares get time off and will produce the greatest quality of foals. Look to us for your next show fillies, colts, mares or stallions. We are a small farm with reasonably priced horses that you can afford buy from, and we are a reputable breeder in Texas.
