Message to Sergio Avila
I used to live next door to Sergio Avila and his
family. I just want to congratulate him on his accomplishments in the
greatest sport, Wrestling. I have not had the opportunity to see him wrestle
in person.
I was in the military when I found out from my mother that he had
made it to state as a Freshman. I was wrestling for the All-Air Force team in
Colorado Springs, Colorado when I first heard.
I have been silently following
his career getting news from the Ki-Be web site and my mother while I was in
the military. Just the fact that he made it to state as a Freshman and placed
is awesome.
I have since moved back to Washington and I plan on going to
Tacoma to see some great wrestling and of course, I will be watching Sergio
wrestle for the first time. I would just like to wish him the best on his
quest for a state title and Good Luck at Mat Classic!
