BEST 2001 HIGH SCHOOL SOPHOMORES & FRESHMEN

Editor's Note: Here are rankings of the nation's best 2001
high school sophomores & freshmen. Several factors were
considered in determining these rankings. They include: (1)
accomplishments at the State High School Championships
(folkstyle) (2) National Junior Freestyle and Greco-Roman
success (3) Cadet National placement (4) performances at
prestigious high school tournaments (5) information from
coaches and parents (6) state from which wrestlers hail. Also
included are Honorable Mention and Special Mention
wrestlers. Honorable Mention includes wrestlers who just
missed the top-20. Special Mention includes wrestlers who
received consideration for the top-20. An update will be
forthcoming.
