The Bears defeated the Rangers for the 8th time in 14 meetings between the teams. Ryan Corke won a tough match against Jared Faris to improve to 3-2 on the year. Justin and Josh Corke made it a family sweep as Justin won a close match and Josh pinned Prescott for the second time in 4 days. Jose Prado came up with his first career highschool pin and Josh Corriell won a major decision over Joe Rosenkranz for the second time in 4 days.
Kevin Hunter made great strides as he won a close match against Jake Messer. Kevin is now 4-2 on the season. Brandon Ashley, Ryan Phipps and Ryan Burns won in their first varsity dual action of the year. Justin Rolland held his own with state veteran Brand Wagner.
The Bears are now 2-0 in duals and along with their second place finish at the Connell Tourney (finishing ahead of Connell and Ephrata), the Bears are begining to look like a strong contender in the CWAC.
