The Bears will be traveling to
Pasco to fight it out with the Best of the West. They were 3-2 in
2002 and 3-3 last year. Both years the Bears won their first
match, defeating Selah 43-32 in 2002 and then Ephrata 35-30 last
season. Brandon Ashley has the most wins in the tournament over
the past two season with 8, while Junior Gonzalez is 7-1 against
Best of the West opponents. The current Bears would like to
improve on their overall individual match record of 34-46.
