Moses Proffer is buried in Harper Cemetery near Aid, Missouri according to Alice Proffer-Spillman who wrote the book, History of the Proffer Family in Cape Girardeau Co. & Stoddard Co.

However, I cannot find his name in the Stoddard Co. Cemetery Book buried at this cemetery, but I find Sarah Proffer b. 28 Jan 1810, d. 27 Oct 1879.  I believe this is Sarah the wife of Moses as the birth date corresponds with her birthdate in the Proffer book of 1810.

Directions:  From Bloomfield, travel west on Highway J to Highway F. Travel south to County Road 420.  Travel east .8 mile.  Harper Cemetery is on the north side of the road.
