RAPP Rsd A Patient's Perspective: My site is about how RSD has affected me. I hope to help others with info about what it is and what it does to us. I think education is the best weapon.

Kathy's Carvings The carver Kathy Rsd led me to woodcarving; woodcarving led me to making horses; horses need to see the world; this is how they get started.
These are my hands.
This is a picture of my left hand which is where the RSD is located. It shows the fingertips that were severed, now healed.
I am still learning with what lies within a piece of wood. I enjoy carving very much and look forward to a rewarding 2005.
This is the first small bronc & broncbuster I've ever carved. It is almost, but not yet, finished.
The following is the opposite view of the same bronc.
The following pictures show the finished bronc. I am pleased with this one. I am still carving and hope to add more painted horses in the near future.
These are a couple of horses I just finished carving, they will still need to be varnished.
This is how the horses start out.
The following is the how the horse looks as the carving begins.
This is my second dolphin. I am still working on the waves.
My newest horses:
This is my first bronc! He sure looks determined!
This is also a first, an elk I think. ;)
I am proud to be a member
of the National Wood Carvers Association.
I can make personalized horses too. I make carousels, rockers, stand alones, and many types and sizes.
Next year I hope to have many horses needing homes!
Email me if you like what you see. I would love to hear from people who have gotten something from this site. It is changing as it goes and I hope I will be able to update it like I should.
Have a great day and thanks for visiting!
