No drilled holes) STEEL PLATE MUST BE WELDED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE DOOR’S BAR ON THE DRIVER’S DOOR Seat belts 1999 or newer, must have manufactured label for inspection, on year built. 5 or 6 points ONLY. Any engine cubic inch - no minimum; no maximum No compression maximum rule Cast iron engine only Aluminum intake okay; Aluminum water pump okay; Aluminum pulleys okay Four barrel carburetor okay; 800 CFM maximum - Holley carburetor only - WILL BE CHECKED NIGHTLY 1978 OR NEWER BODIES AMERICAN AUTOS ONLY NO!! TRUCKS!!!! No bodies wider than 75” measured on any point of the body, stock nose only, -- aluminum, steel, or fiberglass. Steel wheels only - 8 inch maximum. Steel wheel all four corners, exception bead locks on right side only, 8” only. 4 Inch engine set back. Measured from sparkplug to center of ball joint (grease fitting) Driveshaft must be painted white-No Aluminum Driveshafts -- Strictly Enforced!! All added weight must be painted white. ALL ADDED WEIGHT MUST BE BELOW-BODY LINE NONE IN DRIVERS AREA DRIVERS MUST HAVE THREE BARS OR SCREEN IN FRONT IN WINDOW AREA Window nets mandatory Goodyear tires purchased from Halls Auto Sales or Lakeville Speedway only with stamp Clutch must be bolted to crankshaft - DRIVER MUST PUSH CLUTCH TO FLOOR WITHOUT CAR MOVING IN GEAR Stock front clip only - 30 inches. Stock steering box, stock spindles, stock lower A-frames, stock drag link Must have at least 30 inches of front frame (frame rails) Engine cannot be offset to the right or left more than 2 inches Aluminum seats only Any rear end STEEL ONLY, quick change allowed in 2002,-- 3 Link rear 39” maximum length, J bar okay. Any brakes on the rear, any hubs, no floating calipers. No traction devices of any kind, 4th link, 5th coil, chains to rear end, no lift bars (inspector decision final), all three links must be solid -- no shocks. Aluminum, steel, fiberglass bodies. STOCK APPEARING ONLY. Window openings - DRIVER MUST BE ABLE TO GET OUT OF EITHER SIDE OF THE CAR WITH HELMET ON WITHIN 5 SECONDS - NO EXCEPTIONS. Fuel cell ONLY 10 inches off ground, measured from bottom of fuel cell to ground Fuel cell must be mounted between frame rails with fuel cell guard welded below the frame and behind the fuel cell Gasoline only - NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED Gas pedal must have toe return Drivers compartment - aluminum or steel - firewall front & firewall rear. May be shoulder high. 8 Inch spoiler height max - 72 inches wide max. Must be made of clear see through lexon. Can have no writing on the spoiler. No Bert, No Brinn’s - No Special Racing Transmissions Front suspension 5” coils only - No coil over shocks. Rear suspension 5” coils or leaf springs YOU MAY NOT HAVE BOTH. No coil over shocks. Coil spring rear, 3 link with J bar only. Can be mounted in rubber, 39” bars maximum length. 3rd Link mounted in rubber or solid only - 3 Links only with coils, leafs no 3 links. Shocks - no Penske or adjustable shocks - 1 shock per wheel. All cars must have tow hooks front and rear.$10.00 fine payable nightly without hooks Numbers must be a minimum of 18” high and located on the doors and roof OFFICIAL DECISIONS ARE FINAL!! |
