In January of 2000, we went to Kauai to celebrate our tenth anniversary. I had arranged with the Pastor of the oldest Lutheran church in all the islands, to have a Renewal of Vows service. It was a surprise for Mike. I also had a professional Photographer there to take photos. We had gone to the church for Sunday Service the day before. The next morning, to get Mike to the church, I told him I wanted to stop by to get a postcard of the church. (They didn't have them available after the service the day before.) When we got out of the car, I asked Mike "Will you Marry me?" He said "Yes." "I replied, "Good, because that is why we are here." It was wonderful.
