Stronger, vibrant, energized, relaxed;
A circle so complete.
Artist, Athlete,
Mother, Poet;
North, South,
East, and West.
Loving, caring,
laughing, sharing;
No begining and No end.....

CAUGHT
An Earth bound woman wails and sings
Cries for lack of feathered wings
The call she hears she
cannot heed
Knows the life, but not the need
A husband waits in bed for her
Her childrens' colds are her's to cure
Her friends play Bridge,
laugh, telling jokes
She just sits, she smiles and smokes
What life is there inside her head?
Must she be filler for his bed?
Can she arrange to give
and take?
Or must she live by past mistakes?
A man bound woman moans and prays
She counts the hours endless days...
The minutes speed from
breath to breath
The wasted timeline 'til her death

Deep, passionate~
lips parted..
tongues dance together
body anticipates
quivers
soft kisses to the skin
waiting
breathless
wanting..
relentless with desire
melding into one
deep inside completely
explosion of emotions

Old Woman
Her face was hard like an unripe peach,
her smile bitter like lemon.
No softness left to linger there,
washed away by time.
The old woman's tears were gentle though,
a child's eyes burned within.
Jump rope days and love's first kiss,
still cozy in her heart.
Time changes all things in its own way,
a sapling soon covered in bark.
But the pith of the soul deep within us all,
is not so easily marred.
Look beyond the outer shell,
bruised fruit still sweet at the core.
The old woman's dreams are the dreams of us all,
as so the tree shall bend.

of earth.
My love, my dove, will surround you like the sun
that sets on the horizon after its long and fiery dance.
Love will always surround you for as long as I can breathe,
even when my lungs cease to give my body the breath of life,
I will still love you.
Love will always surround you for as long as my heart beats.
Even when my heart stops its quiet but steady beat,
I will love you with all the strength of determination
and steadfastness of these words.
If my words both verbal & written are both untrue,
then I will perish with them forever.
