William Jefferson Pigg Family.  This photo was submitted by Juanita Pigg Hahn.  She writes,  "Bud Pigg had this photo at the Pigg family reunion last year. It shows my great-grandfather (Bud's great-great grandfather), Rev. William Jefferson Pigg and all but one of his children. Rev. Pigg was a Methodist minister, and married many couples in Lawrence Co. during his life. This picture would have been taken in approximately 1881.

The names starting with the back row from left to right are: James Monroe Pigg, age 7, Virgil Ray Pigg, Sr., age 8 (my grandfather) and William Pigg, age 6. Seated L to R are: Daniel Luther Pigg, age 2, Perez Theodore (Dore) Pigg, age 1, Rev. William Jefferson Pigg, Cathula (Cathy) Pigg, age 5 (later married Christopher Columbus (Lum) Hayes), Lindsay Elman Pigg, age 3 and Ezekiel Stanton Pigg, age 4. (Arlie (Arby) 9, not in picture.)  Photo & information contributed by Juanita Pigg Hahn.

Herman L. Dixon.  This photo was submitted by Jeff Dixon.  He writes "My stepmother passed about a year ago and her daughter gave me some of my late father's pictures. I thought this one was unusual.

It was taken in front of the Rexall Drug Store in Louisa. My guess is between 1935 and 1940.  Dad, Herman L. Dixon (b 1906), is the taller one with his hand on his waist. The guy on the barrel is most likely the drug store soda jerk (he's wearing an apron).

It would be interesting to know what this is about ("I need your sympathy") and who the other people are.  Photo & information contributed by Jeff Dixon.

Dock Travis Family.  This photo was submitted by Angela Sparks.  She writes "The photo of Dock and his family unfortanely, is falling apart.  We are not sure if it is his first wife Sarah (Pack) or second wife Minnie (Preston) and children. If you can confirm, we would be grateful. We will also understand if quality prevents us from finding out. We just can't let go of it. "  If anyone can help identify, there are many of us that would be very greatful.  Photo & information contributed by Angela Sparks.
