What is the Guam Schools Web Ring?

What is a Web Ring?
A web ring is a group of web sites having a common, related, or other specified theme or purpose. The sites, members of the web ring, are linked together by HTML code with each site having hyperlinks to the next. Eventually the last member site links back to the first site, forming a "ring".

Why the Guam Schools Web Ring?
The purpose of the Guam Schools Web Ring is to link together sites relating to all schools on Guam. Web pages that focus on Guam's schools and personal web pages by people who just want to say they attended a particular school on Guam.

The Guam Schools Web Ring is also intended to lend to more exposure for member web sites, particularly those personal web pages that many of you create that sit within member indexes of ISPs but otherwise don't get advertised. Search Engines and links are a big help, but, when you join the Ring, your site is linked with other Guam School sites. From any site in the ring, visitors can click on the "NEXT" hyperlink to jump to the next site. If they keep moving forward to the next linked site, they eventually will end up back where they started.

Who Can Join the Guam Schools Web Ring?
Anyone who was/is a student of a Guam school can join as long as your website has something related to Guam's schools.
