Chairperson Ed Cramer called meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.
Color guard from Downtown Boy Scout Troop # 15 led us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Roll Call was conducted with following present: Don Ballantyn, excused Wayne Bamford. Rick Bussell, Jo Ann Carini, excused Gail Cole, Ed Cramer, Grover Diemert, Julie Duenez, Greg Edwards, Roy Hughes, Alfrieda Jackson, Ester McNulty, Rob Spahitz, Gary Stang excused, Liliani Stiffler, Xiongh Thao, excused, Don Wetzel were present. Jim Horsley and Janice Richman were absent.

33 people were present and $?? Was collected for snack fund.

Reports:
Lt. Edgers reported that car thefts have increased

Nicole Capretz from Donna Frye's office introduced Kevin Smith who will be our Council Rep from Council District 6. His number is 619-533-6469. City Council on August 15th will be the hearing on the eir for the Strategic Framework on the City of Villages

Change in Agenda:
Pacific Bell conditional use permit issue will be rescheduled
Riley Street Map Waiver will be rescheduled

Election of a secretary was added.

Rob Spahitz nominated grover Diemert for office of Secretary to the Planning Committee. Don Wetzel seconded the nomination. All voted in favor of Grover as Secretary.

Manning Street Storm Drain: Nabil Batta presented plan to replace and relocate 215 of existing storm drain in Tecolote Canyon. Wayne Bamford moved that the plan be accepted, Don Wetzel seconded the motion. It passed with no dissent.

Tecolote Nature Center: Motion was made to delay action until next meeting by Rich Bussel and seconded by Roy Hughes. Passed

Report on Roundabout at Morena Blvd.: Ed Cramer made a report on the proposed Traffic Roundabout at Morena Ave. and LV ROAD. It is on file. A motion was made to take the Roundabout out of the plans for Linda Vista, as it will not solve traffic problems in that area by Grover Diemert. Roy Hughes seconded it. Motion passed with no dissent.

A motion to approve the May and June minuets as published was made by Rick Bussel and seconded by Greg Edwards. No dissent
