According to John A. Grayton, Genealogist, this son went to Scotland or England as a youth or in his early teens and no record of his return could be found.

Reference is made to the last Will and Testament of John Moore, the father of Unknown Moore, (wife of John Coggin). John Coggin and his wife had three sons and two daughters, who John Moore and his wife, Margaret, loved very much as attested to in his Will, dated 18 April 1702. I quote from his Will with reference to his property after he and his wife died....."To be equally divided among my five Grand Children, three sons and two daughters of John Coggin". Later the Will charged his friend, Thomas Gayle, on two occaisions, to care for his grandchildren. The grandchildren were named: Unknown (Unreadable) Coggin, Robert, William, Frances and Susanna.
