Highlights of Lionistic Career

President of Bridgetown Lions Club - 1992-93

Initiated plans for the construction of the Annex for the Centre for the Blind and Deaf.
Managed the project to completion and presentation to the Association for the Blind and Deaf. The Annex is used for social and recreational activities of the Association.

Initiated the Bridgetown Lions Bingo Evenings, which remain a major fund-raiser for the club.

Chairman, Multiple District Mid-Year Conference - 1993-94

As Chairman coordinated a successful conference held at Sam Lord’s Castle, Barbados.

Career Summary

Edgar ‘Bobby’ Norville joined the Rayside Group as Contracts Manager in 1972. As the company grew and another member of the Rayside Group was formed, Rayside Asphalt Paving Co. Ltd., he was appointed a Director of the company as well as given the responsibility of managing the new company.

He played a significant part in the formation of the other two companies in the Group, Rayside Concrete Mix Ltd. and Rayside Quarry Products Ltd.

Edgar is currently General Manager of the Rayside Group of Companies, an amalgamation of Rayside Construction Ltd, Rayside Asphalt Paving Co. Ltd, Rayside Concrete Mix Ltd and Rayside Quarry Products Ltd.
