Hello!
I'm Lisa, your virtual hostess and proprietor of

First of all, I am a member of the H.R. Pufnstuf generation... I was born in 1963, graduated from high school in 1981, and graduated from college in 1985. I was 7 months old when President Kennedy was assassinated...6 years old when Man first walked on the moon...14 years old when Elvis Presley died...and 17 years old when President Reagan was shot. I spent my childhood in the 60s, my teen years in the 70s and my young adulthood in the 80s. MTV didn't exist until I was old enough to vote. (yes, there was life before music videos!) I grew up (and still live) in the far northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, USA. My interests include singing, drawing, silent movies and the fun side of history (music, fashion, etc.) Still curious? Here is a profile of me and my site from 2000, when it was featured on About.com. My site was still new, and was much smaller than it is today! Hmmm...a tough one. I have always been fascinated by the 1960s, and would love to experience that decade as a teenager or adult.
