Ducks Page 12

THE BROWN-NOSER AND FRIENDS

I shouldn't call the little guy in the front that. But he does have a brown bill. He came from Gymboree, embedded in  a bar of soap. Duck with bib was a dollar-store find, and pucker-mouth duck came from a Lake Geneva gift shop. Beady-eyed fellow on far right came in a bag of squirt -toy farm animals.

 BUBBLEDUCK

This really neat duck is the same mold as the pucker-mouth one at the picture to the left and the largest duck in the "prettiest ducks" pic on page 4. He just has a hat added. He came from a Lake Geneva Toy  shop called "Allison Wonderland".

BLUE TWINS

This absolutely precious pair came in a baby gift set with all blue accessories from Wal-Mart. They also exist in yellow with yellow stuff in the set. Aren't' they just the cutest?

 MULTICULTURALISM, DUCKIE-STYLE

Imagine my thrill at finding these terrific little multicolored duckies, all of the same mold,at the dollar store. In case the colors aren't showing, they are bright yellow, hot pink, red, and black.

 BIG HAPPY MOMMA

From a store called "All Wound Up" came this huge mom and her three kids. Mom seems to have an unusually euphoric look on her face. She also bears a strong resemblance to the Sesame Street ducks.

CARNY

An old, beat-up carnival duck pond retiree, and I have to admit that I stole it, but I left 50 cents behind in its place. I lifted it from the Gwinnett County Fair, a great place to go in the fall at night if you don't want to see a full set of teeth all evening.
