Description and Location
A beautiful little apartment for up 2 people. In a cobbled street at the back of the Roman forum, this apartment has been meticulously designed in keeping with its style. The area is mainly residential, and is home to many very interesting restaurants and trattoria, along with a wide variety of antique restorers and various crafts. Transport in and out of the area is very simple as 100 meters away is an underground station and a short walk to the Forum area takes you into the centre of the city.

	Amenities This ground floor apartment is two rooms, one with double bed, living area and kitchen and the second, the bathroom. The kitchen corner is brand new, very smart with all the necessary utensils (no oven). There is independent heating and a satellite TV. Air-Con. Traffic is infrequent through this street, normally used only by fellow residents. Within 40 meters either way, there are some great eating places, which cater to a variety of budgets and tastes, and a five minutes stroll, will get you to a large number of dining, snacking, drinking, and "cobbled courtyard coffee-in-the-sun" establishments.
Attractions & Activities
You can forget your car: the place is only a 5 minute walk from the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Maximum Circus; 15 minutes from the Spanish Steps, Trevi’s Fountain, and "La Dolce Vita" in Via Veneto. Subway Stop CAVOUR is only 300 meters away and will connect you to the rest of the City. Vatican is only 15 minutes by bus. The apartment is located in a small cobbled street only 6 meters wide, in the most ancient part of Rome, just behind the Roman Forum. The area is mainly residential, and is home to many very interesting restaurants and trattoria, along with a wide variety of antique restorers and various crafts. The area is home to many famous artists (esp. writers, movie stars and directors). Most famous (internationally) is film-director Mario Monicelli ("The Great War", "The Girl with A Pistol", "High Infidelity", "The Unfaithful", "The Passionate Thief"). Transport in and out of the area is very simple as 100 meters away is an underground station and a short walk to the Forum area takes you into the centre of the city.
RATES: 90 Euros per night up to 2 people. It includes daily cleaning, linen, towels. BOOKING PROCEDURE: You are booked once you send your credit card data. Maximum privacy is - of course - granted. Split the info into 2 different e-mails for better security. PAYMENT: CASH UPON ARRIVAL PICK UP SERVICE: It can be organized if you wish. Rates are pretty good, service is excellent and helpful in case of need: 37 Euros up to 3 people; 52 Euros up to 6. We need to know your expected arrival time and Flight No. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: We need to know your expected arrival time in advance in order to welcome you at the apartment. Departure: luggage must be ready by 10 am in order to allow the maid to clean up the apartment for next guests. Late departures are not a problem but we must be informed to make arrangements. NOTES: hair-dryer. No phone (but many internet-cafés are in the area) and no Washing Machine (but your laundry can be washed/ironed upon request for a little extra; also Coin Laundry shops are very close).
