::home12.6.2003Welcome to my homepage! I'm Levi Guerrero; I'm a geek, and mostly I work alone, hence the handle 'lone_geek'. I'm not one of those web-<insert cool title here>-master-guru guys. And I'm not much into crunching databases either; everybody and their dog can do database apps these days. No, I fancy myself as a network or systems programmer -- most of the stuff I do has to do with network communications. Most of my roughly 10 years of geek experience has to do with C++ and Java, and Linux/Unix, although I've had the misfortune of being forced to write Win32 systems-level code on and off for several years as well. I also like Python; it would be nice if i could make a living off Python, but right now, C++ and Java are what puts food on the table and money in my pocket. I have other interests, but for now, my geek background will suffice. ;-) In the meantime, have a look around. Most of the interesting stuff will be at my geek blog, but hopefully I'll be able to add more stuff soon (like pictures!) |
