Across The Distance I Dream
My knees are tucked tightly up to my chest,
As my eyes gaze out into the sea.My hair blows so freely like a dance in the wind, through the distance that keeps you from me.The waves move so calmly, as they edge to the shoreWhere the warmth of the Sun hits the Ground.I bring a large Seashell up to my ear,But it does not release any sound.Your laughter I hear in the passing warm wind,as it happily tickles the sand.A tear burns it's path down the side of my cheek, then Splatters its pain on my hand.I walk to the water, where I slowly look down,a reflection of you fills my heart,I fall to my knees, and look deep in your eyes, and curse the ocean that keeps us apart. The sun now descends, and your face disappears, and blackness takes over the sky,Watching the clouds move so hauntenly slow, leaving shadows as they pass on by.I return to the place where my eyes shed a tear, and unwrap a single red rose.kissing each petal, before it drops in the sea,the fragrance still fresh on my nose. With the stem of the rose I write in the sand,a message that I shall stay true.Across the distance I dream of the one that I Love,Forever I'll wait here for you.

The Moon Follows Us Both
From a ledge I am searching, in the midst of the night.
For the one that I dream of, in the battle I fight. In my mind love is reaching, for a face to shine through,in my chest my hearts beating, for a love I hold true. The sky holds the answer, in the deep blue of the night,as I turn my head slowly, and the moon comes in sight. In a night gown I stand there, with the wind in my hair.and dream of my dear one, with a sad distant stare. My emotions escape me, and the tears start to fall, from my quivering lips, a name they will call.Does my voice travel on, through the sky up above ?Does it search with desire, for the one that I love ?Up the ledge I climb higher, move my hair from my face.and look to the moonbeams, for one tiny trace.then it enters my body, like a jolt to my heart.as long as the moon comes, we are never apart, for it follows us both, through the pain that we share.reminding us nightly, just how much we care.

Through The Tears That I Cry
Through the reflection of tears, is a world that once glowed.
Where the days seemed so bright, and the love always flowed.Yet it now seems so still, just suspeneded in air,you can watch all the memories, as the tears disappear. Each tear holds a vision, that was once in true form, but now it is fading, leaving the heart badly torn.Your smile drops quickly, onto the palms of my hands,it splatters on inpact, the second it lands. The next tear that falls, is the words often said,it shimmers I Love You, but now their empty and dead.Through the crystal clear saline, the sun sparkles bright,my tears glisten softly, like stars in the night. In the last tear that drops, is a vision so clear,my days filled with sorrow, till the time you are here. When the day does arrive, that our life becomes one.all my days spent saddly crying, will finally be done.

Luminous To My Crying Eyes
I fall back slowly in the summer sun, lay my head down on the grass,
my squinting eyes seek the storm filled clouds, bring darkness as they pass.My hands now tucked behind my head, where my fingers interlock,From left to right , from natures sounds, my foot begins to rock. The wind that blows all the autum leaves, is a whisper sadly caught, there are echos trapped in the old oak tree, from a battle bravely fought. The pain that lives in my screaming soul, keeps on scratching at the wall, controlled by flames sealed in devil's eyes, as it tries to make me fall.My fist clenched tightly as I chant the words, Please take my pain away, and erase this damage, that my hearts endured, letting free my life this day.As I part my lips for a suttle voice, to recite my last good byes,my body's absorbed in a crystal bath, Luminous to my crying eyes." How can you beckon tears if your heart is dead, and your soul has finally won ?"" Take a second glimpse in the evening sky, that relieves the scrotching sun."No form was found for my eyes to shape, just a feeling in the air, when I touched a leaf with my fingertips, all the dewdrops disappear."In the coming days, you will learn the truth, of the one who's heart you kissed,"were the last words heard from the hidden force, as you walked out from the mist.my palm bares witness to a long lost beat, when my hand's placed on my heartyou vowed to me with love full forced, that today our lives would start. You set your hand on my tear stained cheek, releasing my desguise, right in front of me was your smiling face, Luminous to my crying eyes.your shoulder had cushioned my falling head, and life pumped through my viens, our aching lips fell on satin bliss, in the moon-light as it rains. On October 4th, in a empty field, you had rescued what was mine,in my crystal necklace, on sunny days, I could see your halo shine. The I Love You, whispered in my ear, now puts to rest the lies, two hearts that melted into one, luminous to my crying eyes.

You Are Always In My Heart
From my cushioned chair I'm leering through the glass,
as the rain beats quickly down,
I can feel your love calling out to me,
it's such a peaceful soothing sound.
The moon light dances like a dreamed filled child,
in the wettness of the rain,
if I walked outside pleading anxiously,
would the cold air know such pain ?
I grab my coat, while running out the door,
pull the house keys off the hook,
with my hood tied tightly, to elude the wind,
I fall exahausted by a brook.
With conviction living in my every word,
I scream with fury to a ray,
Please break free from the strangling clouds,
so my pain will fade away.
The darkness slowly disappears,
as if it heard my sobbing plea,
then the warmth decends upon my smiling face,
burning hope back into me.
I close my eyes, and I see your face,
as my eyes embraced the light,
hearing distant whispers of your tender words,
that walk me safely through the night.
No matter how far off you seem to be,
I can feel your presence near,
When you soar the skies upon natures wings,
I can see you everywhere.
The sun reflects your loving heart,
from the moon your brilliance shows,
on the daisies blooming in my flowerbed,
is where your laughter seems to grows.
Our time to meet will soon be here,
two more nights and one more day
I bring my hand to my pouting lips,
to softly blow a kiss away.
When you feel it land on your waiting cheek,
turn around and I will be there,
standing face to face with my destiny,
into your longing eyes I'll stare.
Then I'll fall into your loving arms,
the only true place I belong,
and the doubts I felt throughout the years,
in an instant will be gone.

A Rememberance
We sat by the lake, the sun shining bright,
and in your touch I found a moment in time.
A time and a place, I forever held dear,
like a verse that so emotionally captures a rhyme.
Knelt there beside you, your face turned to stone,
your face in my hands, I whispered a good bye.
I turned once again, just to capture your love,
which dripped with total desire, from your unprepared eyes.
Our souls locked together, unknown to us both,
that the words said that day, would really come true.
For years and for years, I search long and hard,
to find my way back, had to get back to you.
I look out the window at the trees standing there,
a flashback comes straight to my mind.
The tree that blew calm, yet tainted with pain,
came rushing back into my mind..
