Comments: Pretty unbelievable mess of
reformed Canuck ex-junkie/convict Christian telling his life's story to an
empty recording studio. 100% phony-sounding applause and laughter support a
chaotic string of street punk anecdotes jumping strangely from minute
details to grand sweeping statements. Some of it sounds invented, while
excited stories on getting beaten up and stabbed ring of truth. To cap it
off, tasteless jokes appear when you least expect them, all with an unfunny
and unpleasant nature remarkably similar to Rupert Pupkin's surreal routine
in Scorsese's "King Of Comedy".
Details on his drug use are suspiciously vague, though we are treated to
some fun stats on the local Texas teenage scene. Not a pure LSD casualty LP,
but good creepy fun and less brainwashed/depressing than Tom Mahairas.
