  • Company v3.0 (4.2 MB):  This is the best VB program I've ever written.  This is superb Monopoly-style board game.  It's about buying and selling the world's biggest computer and car companies, investing, insuring, plotting, winning and losing.  You can choose between two types of companies: Computer companies, Car manufacturers.  There can be 2, 3 or 4 players.  So gather your family and prepare for hours of excitement!

  • Login (10 KB):  A program which simulates what a server does when a user tries to login to his/her account.  First you sign up for a new account by choosing a personal user name and password.  Afterwards you can login to your account using them.  However, this program doesn't really connect to a server on the internet, neither does it receive email, etc.  It's just a simulation.

  • Matrix Inverse Calculator (30 KB):  Calculates the inverse of any n-by-n matrix using the complicated Gauss-Jordan elimination method. You simply choose your matrix's dimensions, and then enter the elements of the matrix you want inverted in the left frame. When you press Enter, the inverse matrix will be shown in the right frame. If your matrix doesn't have an inverse, you will be told so.

  • Memory (35 KB):  Test your memory with this shape puzzle game!  In this game a number of cards are put on a surface upside down. Each card has a shape on the face.  A click on a card lets you see the shape on it.  But no more than two cards can be showed at a time.  Only two cards have a specific shape.  Your job is to memorize the place of each shape and match it with it's pair.

  • Mouse Master (15 KB):  This game helps you test and improve your mouse skills.  A shape appears on the screen and randomly changes it's place in specific intervals of time.  Your job is to click on it before it moves.  The game has been designed for users at any range of computing experience.  So whether you're a beginner or an expert in working with your mouse, you will have lots of fun.  Check it out!

  • Number Memory (10 KB):  A fun game in which you have only a short time to memorize a number.  Test your memory with this cool game!
In this game a random number is chosen each time you play. The secret number is shown for a few seconds (depending on the number of digits), then it disappears. Meanwhile you have to memorize it. Then your job is to enter the digits of the secret number one at a time by clicking the buttons labeled 0 to 9. If you do it correctly, the difficulty increases by one level. In the next level you are given a number with one more digit. You will win when you pass the 10th level.

  • Prevent Deletion (30 KB):  Using this program you can prevent the deletion of certain files/folders on a shared drive in your network.  For example you’ve got a file you want to show to your friends.  So you copy it to a shared drive in your network, and ask your friends to check it out.  But some jealous freak keeps on deleting it.  This program will check whether your file exists on the shared drive, and if not, it recopies the file.  This process is repeated at a defined interval of time.  So the jealous guy will get tired and stop after a while!

  • Random Numbers Statistical Analysis (10 KB):  This program is a simple statistical study on random numbers.  It creates several random numbers, analyzes them and then shows the results.  The goal is to see the effect of "the number of random numbers generated" on the results.  A very nice teaching program for those unfamiliar with random numbers.

Note:  The programs above have been compressed into zip files.  Use an unzip utility such as WinZip in order to extract and use them.

Note:  Microsoft Visual Basic run-time files are required by all applications created with Visual Basic 6.0.  If you encounter errors running my programs, you probably don't have these files on your computer.  Click here to download the latest version from the Microsoft web site.
