The first Pentium - part 2

New upgrades to my Pentium 200 MHz-CPU computer. I changed my RAM memory to 4(32 megs) for 128 Megs of RAM, which made the computer around 12% faster, and I upgraded Windows 98, to Microsoft Windows 2000 Pro, which made it another 30% faster. Its now 84% faster than when I bought the computer in 96. I also added a larger hard drive to it, for the new OS, operating system a 10.2 Gig HD; and a internal 100 MB Zip Drive. I installed a high speed USB port. The computer came with a single speed CD ROM player, that I upgraded to a quad speed CD Rom Player in 99. Since, the computer was now 10 years old, I replaced the old main board ribbon cables with new ones. A faster computer runs Windows faster and better, but a higher CPU is needed for different operating systems. note - The computer is almost completed. M. Moy - 2006
