I will provide you with a general idea of when a test is planned. As the date approaches, I will tell you exactly when a test is planned. This page will be updated every week or two.

Information Required from ALL Parents

Permission slip signed allowing student participation in chemistry (in order to do lab activities)

Assignments

Aug 31 - Safety Contract and Release Form due, safety quiz

Sep 7 - Chapter 1 Review quiz

Sep 8 - have water samples ready for Exp 11 "Hardness of Water", do Pre-lab Exp 11

Suggestion: You will have about 1 week to review Ch 2. Go on-line and copy your own review notes. Pace yourself through Ch 2 so that you are prepared for a review test about midweek.

Sep 9,10 - Do Exp 11. The lab is OPEN after school Sep 8 and at 7 AM Sep 9-10 for those needing more time. In the evenings work on Ch 2.

Sep 10 - Complete all calculations for Exp 11 by class. Be ready for discussion (no class time for data collection)

Sep 13 - approximate due date for Exp 11, study Ch 2

Sep 14 - be prepared with any questions you have over Ch 2

Sep 15 - Approximate date for Review Test Ch 2
