Man In Nebraska with Stolen Truck:
Hey everyone! Great news. At about 5:30 P.M. today I received a cellphone call from my daughter
who said my son had just happened onto my truck. He had stopped at a gas station and when leaving, noticed my truck parked
around back. With the exception of about 1/4 tank of gas missing, everything else was there. How often does that happen? As
Bob said, "praise God!" Thank you all for your prayers.

This is about the baby I have been requesting prayer
for. (Three months old) Thank you Lord for answering prayers.
Subject: Addison
For those of you who do not know, the test results for Addison came back normal. Also,
she was taken off of her oxygen last night (actually 2:00 a.m.) and her pulse/ox level has been fine since then.
We are waiting to hear from the DR this morning but everything
is looking brighter.
Thanks for all of the prayers and God Bless.

Woman in Florida
Good Afternoon! Just to let you know that Addison did
come home on Saturday. She was diagnosed with Atelectosis. Pretty much, it is just partially collapsed lungs,
and that was why she wasn't getting enough oxygen. She was off of the oxygen all night Friday, and the doctor let us
go on Saturday. We are doing breathing treatments every four hours. They said that a number of things could
have caused the Atelectosis.
It could have been viral(which all of the viral tests
came back negative), or it could be from asthma (which she hasn't actually been diagnosed with, but her sister has).
I just wanted to take the time to let everyone know how much I appreciate the thoughts, prayers, calls, and visits.
Thanks!

In His faithful and amazing
way, the Lord has miraculously provided the money we need to buy the mobile home I wrote asking you to pray about last week.
We are driving down to Washington DC today to take delivery of it.
Thank you so much for standing with us in prayer
for this need. We are grateful to those who responded to the leading of the Lord also in offering to help financially towards
this. Our prayer is that the Lord will bless each one of you who has supported us in any way. You have encouraged us to obey
the leading of the Lord these past months as we prepared to take this tour, and we know you will continue to keep us in prayer
as we move ahead.
We love you Franny & Stan

Update from Sonya:
Hey guys.
It's Saturday morning and our camp is officially over.
Today, some of the team will travel to the middle part of the country with Kara to see some friends from other camps in other
years. Then on Monday, half the team will leave for America and the rest on Tuesday. It's
been quite a week.
2 boys made true decisions for Jesus this week, and that
is incredible. The oldest boys in the camp were certainly the highlight of the camp. These were big 14 and 15
year old boys who had a good attitude all week and just added to the enthusiasm and over all camraderie of the camp.
At the closing, they got up and in Slovak and English, they had written a huge thank you to the Americans. It was pretty
touching! They were just an amazing bunch of boys.
And that was the way of the camp. 80+ kids all over
the place, and for the most part, having the time of their life.
One boy told me that he felt like he WAS in America.
Everyone received a certificate, a Bible, a t-shirt of some type, and a CD. That's a lot of junk! They also got
all of the decorations from the classes and bandanas and balloons and balls...the list goes on and on! No one was hurt
too badly and all of the teachers came through the week without nervous breakdowns!
I still think and believe that our translators and helpers
made the camp happen for us. I continue to be proud of the wonderful Slovaks who are the bridges between both cultures
and just work so hard to please and help and assist in all things. They were pretty much tireless and always around
when we needed them. God used them in a mighty way this week.
The American team has been so agreeable too! They just
keep going. Once again, the Slovak church fed them and we had a mini worship service together last night...lots of laughing
and singing. The assistant principal is just amazed at how well everyone seems to get along with each other. It
is a strong bond, and we know that you are praying for them to keep the unity. God is saying "yes"!
Today, we are off to see some castles and chill a little
bit.
Keep on praying though. I believe that there will be
an opportunity to share some testimonies in the church tomorrow. And be especially in prayer for the groups or clubs
or follow-up that needs to happen in the next month.
We love you guys.

Update on Justin S.:
Thank you all for praying for
Justin S. Pat, his grandmother, truly believes that God has heard our prayers. Last Friday he had a C. Scan
and everything appeared normal, no tumors etc. Today he went to the Ophthalmologist. The doctor said that both
of his optic nerves were abnormally small, he may be extremely far sighted, but that he does have hope that they will
grow. Justin will be rechecked in two months. In Him Sandi

Todd 1 & Todd 2 got back Saturday evening around 8pm
after getting lost two times on the way home. Todd 2 called the house Saturday and I answered the phone. He would
have rather talked to my mother, but he had to deal with me. They were in Baton Rouge stranded needing money to buy gas to
get the rest of the way home. Todd 2 had taken a girl down there and blew the money that he had and had a big fight
with her. Anyway, we wired them gas money to get home. So, they only had 1 evening in New Orleans. I believe that
this is truly an answer to prayer. I can't believe some of the things that they did Friday night. All I could say, though,
as I danced around the kitchen... was "Thank-You GOD" that they had to come back home. Thank you all for praying! Please
keep praying for their salvation!
Love you all,
Angela

- Note from Ginger N. with update on her grandfather: "I talked to my grandfather and he is doing GREAT!
It's hard to believe that Friday night this 82 year old had triple by-pass and Tuesday he was home and up and moving around!
In fact he probably over did it somewhat and so yesterday he had to be what he called "lazy". He's obviously a little
sore and will have to continue to take it easy, but he is doing well all things considered. I really cannot thank everyone
enough for their prayers and I am excited to share this great news as a Praise to God!
Thanks again,

Update:
"To our Friends:
Thanks to everyone for prayers for our boys in Florida. This time Barry, Cape Coral, received no effects from storm,
Billy who is just west of West Palm Beach did get sustained winds of100-110 miles hour winds for about 6 hours Sunday a.m.
He lost the hard top to his jeep, a dog kennel and ONE shingle from his roof. He still does not have electricity and
they are still under curfew and cannot go into town. They are safe and just now bracing for IVAN!!!! Called
Mona to check on Lamar and he had evacuated and was at her house!! Our place that is near Okeechobee and our church
there (which is the hurricane shelter) received sustained winds of 90-95 mile hour winds but all is well. The church
had 98 people there during the storm- they served 80 people during the evacuation during Hurricane Charley.
Vinson Update:
Vicki F. talked to her parents last night and they had gone back home from the church shelter.
All was well at their home.

Probably over a week ago, I emailed you to be praying for my 2nd cousin, Ann P. who was very sick and not doing well at all. She
had recently returned from a vacation with her
family from Mexico and was the only one sick.
The hospital had sent her home, because of insurance, the hospital bill was $3000 a day and she had been in there for 2 weeks,
unable to eat and getting IV fluids. Well, today my aunt
who is her grandmother called
from California to let us all know:
"Prayer does work. Ann Marie is doing better. She is still
pale and has lost a lot of weight, but she is requesting some "gravy" to eat." Please continue to pray that her appetite be totally restored and
that she continues to progress. My aunt said to tell all of you thank-you for
all of your prayers, because they are being answered.

My friend goes to First Baptist of Newnan, Sunday morning her pastor (he is a wonderful man of God)
said how everyday he ask God to put him where he can minister to someone in need....well he said he had gone into a department
store in Newnan and he was talking to an associate and she started telling him about her daughter who was killed in a wreck,
she started crying and God gave him the opportunity to minister to her...it was Debbie. This pastor really has a pastors
heart in that he is so compassionate. In telling the story my friend said that he was on the verge of tears. But
God is able and put him right there when she was working......Amen, God cares so much about each of us! Sandi

10/04/2004 Missionary Threatened with Death: Update
Karnataka State, India-Pastor Kumar, a GFA native missionary who
faced possible death this Sunday, has safely come through the weekend.
Last Friday he was confronted with a mob of
anti-Christians who beat him and told him they'd kill him in front of his wife and two-year-old son if he conducted church
services. The more than 40 new believers in this south Indian village-whom Kumar led to Christ over the past two years-were
also threatened with death if they set foot inside the church.
Pastor Kumar and his GFA leader approached the local
police, but they were unable to assist him. However, the district police chief later contacted Pastor Kumar and warned him
to stay away from the church on Sunday, as he believed the threat was serious. Kumar and his family followed the police chief's
advice. The believers, along with the church elders, met in another location for worship.
Meanwhile, Gospel for Asia
leaders have appealed to the Indian government's Home Ministry in Delhi to intervene on their behalf.
Please continue
to pray for Pastor Kumar, that he would stand firm in His service for the Lord Jesus. Remember also the more than 600 other
GFA native missionaries who faithfully serve in the state of Karnataka.
Dear Mrs. Sumrall, We
received news from the field that Pastor Tulsiram was released yesterday after being beaten and kept overnight in a secret
location. Let us thank God together for the speedy release of our dear brother. Thank you for standing in the gap with us
to intercede for him. Your prayers have made a difference. Please
pray for our native missionary pastor as he recovers from the incident and continues to share the hope of Christ among the
unreached, even in the face of such opposition. Your brother in Christ, K.P. Yohannan President

Dear Praying Friends, Blessings from Jerusalem! The
Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (http://www.daytopray.com) far exceeded our expectations and hopes, as once again the Lord demonstrated
to us that He is able to do for us "exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think"..... After some tremendous
logistic challenges throughout the week, October 3rd dawned a beautiful day, sunny and pleasant. Though it was warm, some
of the very hot weather we had been having here broke. The temperature ended up being reasonable and was not overwhelmingly
hot. The setting in the Rose Garden, directly in front of the Knesset, was beautiful and strategic. About 1
pm in the afternoon, the first groups of "watchmen" began to arrive. At first, we wondered if the crowd would be very large.
But, by the time we began at 2, there was a great crowd of about 2500, which grew to about 3500 by the end. The
program, which lasted about 90 minutes, included sharing by various religous and political leaders. We were especially blessed
by the Palestinian Arab pastor, Naim Khoury, who was there and spoke courageously. The level of press coverage
that we received was far beyond what we anticipated. There were at least a dozen camera crews there, as well as dozens of
other reporters. Believers from all over the world were gathered, a majority of them coming as part of the delegation of the
International Christian Embassy Jerusalem. After Dr. Pat Robertson shared the keynote address, Eagles' Wings
presented the Knesset members present with a very large, framed copy of the Call to Prayer Resolution, which called for the
establishment of this annual Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. I then led the crowd in several minutes of sustained,
spontaneous prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, which sealed the gathering. From the Rose Garden, many of the
leaders at the event headed to a private reception which Eagles' Wings hosted in honor of the Christian Allies Caucus of the
Knesset. At this gathering of about 100 leaders, we were very honored by the attendance of the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Yona
Metzger. His attendance at the gathering is a major symbol of the growing relationship between Jews and Evangelical Christians,
and I am sure is a very couragous step on his part. He spoke garciously at the event and we were very blessed to have him
with us. After this, there was an official meeting of the Christian Allies Caucus, which updated all of us on
the goals and work of the Caucus, and gave us an inside look at their activities. There has been quite a bit
of press coverage since the event, with reports of the event in many of the major newspapers. I was also interviewed by Channel
One, which is one of the main news programs in Israel and is also broadcast throughout the Middle East. The
reports from around the world have been so encouraging. We hope to post many pictures from the event and also testimonies
of what happened around the world on the website very soon, so please be looking for them. Also, please email us (mailto:office@eagleswings.to) the testimonies of how the Day of Prayer celebration was kept by your
local church or community. We may post these on the website as an encouragement to all. Also, we are preparing
a video of the gathering in Jerusalem, which I think will be a tremendous blessing to you and really allow you to "be there"
in Jerusalem with us as the gathering happened. We will get you the details of how you can order this and when it will be
available in the next few days. October 2, 2005 is the next annual Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem,
but our prayer is that for Zion's sake, you will not be silent day or night. Let us work together for God's purposes in this
hour in Jerusalem. From Jerusalem, Robert Stearns Eagles' Wings PS - We hope to
see MANY of you at the upcoming conference in New Holland, PA.....October 14-16.....Dutch Sheets, Julie Meyer from IHOP, the
whole Eagles' Wings team....we will be bringing a special update with photos from the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem....hundreds
have already registered and we believe it is going to be an important and stratgic gathering for Pennsylvania, and also for
our nation just weeks before the election....we hope you can join us.....call 800-519-4647 for details.....

I wanted to give you an update on Ken Roberts. Mrs. Vesta called me to
let me know that He is being moved to a different hospital with a rehab program to help with the recovery program. He is very

there for a week or so to make sure that he adjusts to the changes. Then he will be in his own room.
That's all I got for now, but I will keep ya posted.

Update on David H. (Uncle David)..... Thank you for praying for this young
man... the Lord really heard our prayers last night....
Good morning...I just called the hospital and Uncle David answered the
phone. He is doing okay. The doctor said he could not believe that he made it through it. The surgery lasted
throught the night and they did not even have to put him in ICU. He is in a regular room. I told him that we all
prayed last night and he said, "That is why I made it through." The hospital is going to keep him a couple more
days to watch him closely - because infection could happen - because of his white blood cell count staying so low. I
am so thankful that he made it through surgery ok - Thank The Lord. Now he is going through the healing process which
will take more time than it does for healthy people. Thank you so much for all the prayers - I slept so peacefully last
night. I will let you know if I have any updates.
