The Duplin County Pageant Association Inc. will hold it's annual pageant on September the 13th in the Fine Arts Building at Wallace-Rose Hill High School in Teachey. To compete in the pageant each girl must: Raise at least $250.00, Turn in an 8x10 picture of herself and 4 wallets aslo, compete in two competitions which are Talent and Evening Gown. Each contestant also has the oppurtunity to sell advance tickets to the pageant, the girl who sells the most tickets will receive a trophy. There are many rules and regulations that a contestant must abide by in order to obtain a title. Once a contestant wins she must represent the DCPA Inc. at various events and parades also.
