This is the same Bob as he always was. He was unexplainably sent a millenium (in ReBoot time: a month) into the future. He didn't blend in well, and didn't really understand what was going on. He befriends Dot3000, and with her help he meets Hexadecimal, who is now really, really, really old. Later he befriends Kalika Chase who helps Bob out, first by buying him a new outfit.

His new outfit is very similar to his old glowing white one. The new one is black and blue, and he carries a gun at his side.

Bob is trying to get back to his original time, and feels that he was sent here for a purpose. He decides that if he defeats Daemon and saves Mainframe from it's decaying self, he will be transported home and live happily ever after.

Bob misses all his friends from Mainframe, but seems to find them again (almost as if they had been reborn) in his new friends. He has romantic feelings towards Dot3000, but tries to deny them because he feels unfaithful to Dot, and weird because she is a descendant of Dot and his brother Macro (who Dot3000's brother is named after).
