"Game over. User wins." Those painful words echoed over and over again in Dot's mind. Tears filled her violet eyes, which were now clouded with grief. Why was this happening to her? First her mom died of a massive energy drain, then her dad and the city went with the experiment. Bob had been blasted far away into the Web possibly never to be seen again. And now her own brother, little Enzo, the only one she had left, had been taken from her by that twisted evil known as the Game. She knew that she had to be strong for her sake, Bob and Enzo's sake, and Mainframes. Besides she was Command.Com and by Net nothing was going to stop her now. Not even that evil virus Megabyte was gonna take her down, no way in the Web.

So with that last thought Dot pushed all her emotions back in, took a deep breath, and with her head held high in might, strode into the Principal Office. As she adjusted her microphone and resumed with her plans, Phong smiled. 'What a brave and spirited young women.' He had always respected Dot, for only he and a few others knew what she was entirely capable of.

"Scan the system. I want a full system check," instructed Dot. The two bionomes nodded in agreement and immediately began to carry out the orders. "Report," the Command.Com ordered, "on screen." A map filled the screen and the bionomes began to explain their findings.

"Ms. Matrix Megabytes forces are in the Alpha 1 sector and expanding towards the Kit sector. All of his forces are aliened as if they are waiting for something. We have the weapon system online and are ready to fire."

'What are they waiting for?' Dot wondered.

"Dot honey, according to my readings there is two times the energy and power level of those ships. This data is basically saying if there were two times those ships that would equal the energy level they are exhibiting. I will try to clean up the readings though sugah," Mouse stated. The two smiled gratefully at each other and continued their research.

"Ms. Matrix we are waiting for your clearance to fire," repeated the bionome.

"I got it! Hold your fire." She commanded. Everyone looked at her questionably, but then smiled. When Dot Matrix had a plan she had a plan. "Turn all the weapons systems to the South. Reverse the energy field and reconstruct it in that same direction. Mouse give me as much power as you can give me, without losing the main systems. Transfer that and boost it into the field." Dot ordered, her violet eyes flashing.

"You got it honey," replied Mouse. The others shrugged and quickly did as told.

"Dot excuse me for asking but won't that leave us hindered completely defenseless against Megabytes forces?" Phong inquired.

"Phong his forces aren't coming from the North. They are approaching from the South. Don't you see those ships are decoys? That's why the energy readings are soaring. There are twice as many ships behind us. They are using a type of cloaking device" She explained.

"Ms. Matrix you are truly a genius," replied Phong. Dot smiled in thanks.

"Ok honey the shield's up and the weapons are ready sug."

"Alright then lets give Megabyte a taste of Mainframe power!" Everyone cheered. "Ok open a Vidwindow of the South Sector. Prepare to fire. On my mark." Dot watched the screen. And after what seemed like seconds she yelled, "Fire!" The now extremely surprised ships were blasted to circuits or were reflected and burned by the shield. Seeing all the ships were destroyed, Dot ordered the closing of the Vidwindow and everyone cheered.

The office became silent when a familiar Vidwindow popped up and a spine chilling voice filled the room. "Nice work Ms.Matrix. I must admit I am impressed. If I were you however, I would stay out of my way from now on or you and your comrades will face ultimate deletion. On second thought I rather like the idea of infecting you. Hmmm which one to choose."

"I would rather be deleted than ever let you take over this system and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to protect and preserve Mainframe even if it means being deleted or infected!" Yelled Dot.

"Now come fiery Dot don't be foolish. You may have won the battle, but I will win the war! Megabyte out." He growled.

"Alright everyone needs to get some rest. I will stay here for now and watch the area. Everyone did an alphanumeric job! You are all dismissed." Dot told them. As everyone left two voices spoke up.

"Dot honey it doesn't matter what you tell me, but I'm gonna stay here with ya sugah."

"Ms. Matrix I can stay too," replied Phong.

"Oh it's ok Phong go get some rest and recharge. Me and Mouse can take it from here. But thanks for your help."

"Alright then. Be careful," warned Phong as he disappeared through the main door lock.

"Wow Dot that was a truly fine and amazin job ya did honey." Dot smiled hiding her grief.

"Thanks Mouse." Just then Mouse walked in front of her and looked her straight in the face.

"Honey there's somethin botherin ya isn't there?" And for a nano Mouse saw a lonely, grief stricken, and heart broken sprite, but Dot then recovered quickly.

"Oh Mouse I guess this whole experience has been too much for me and put my circuits in overdrive."

"It's Bob isn't it sug." But this was not a question but a fact. "Honey I know ya loved him and I also believe and know that he loved ya too. Both of ya were just to afraid to admit those feelins for each other. Dot I know ya miss him sweetie and I promise ya I will help ya and not eva rest until we find 'um sugah." Dot embraced her friend gratefully.

"Mouse you are a true friend and I don't know what I would do without you. Thank you."

"No problem sug."

All of a sudden the system alarm went off.

"Intruder alert. Intruder alert." All of the Mainframers came running.

"Hurry get to your stations!" shouted Dot, "Shields up and get the weapons ready." Megabyte's forces began to attack head on and with each coming blast the impact got worse and began to take it's toll on the shield.

"Dot we gotta a weapons malfunction and a short in the shield. It's not gonna hold much longer sugah."

"Ok Phong give the evacuation code and get our people away from the crossfire. We are now moving to an abandoned building in Sector 77B. Be sure to catch a transport there!" ordered Dot.

"Dot, Dot there are only enough transports for twenty-two of the P.O. operators! And we have twenty-four!" Phong said urgently. Dot looked at Mouse and she nodded.

"Ok then send everyone in the transports. Meanwhile me and Mouse will make our way there on our zip boards."

"But Dot that is too dangerous you could be captured or worse!" cried Phong.

"Look we have no choice. Get everyone out now! Please Phong!" Phong gave her a small hug,

"Take care my child." And rolled away.

"Alright Mouse let's do it!" While speeding through a side sector alley, Dot looked up at the spot where Bob had disappeared. 'Oh Bob I miss you so much it hurts. Please come back to me and I don't think I can do this all on my own anymore.' When she and Mouse had reached the building they began setting up defenses. Just then the door flew open. Dot and Mouse drew their guns and Dot spoke into her microphone.

"Phong prepare for a counter attack, we may have company!"

"Wow sis you haven't changed one bit." Dot covered her mouth with a shaky hand as an older Enzo stepped through the door.

"Enzo....it can't be.. your...your gone." She whispered. He just shook his head and held his arms open.

"How about a welcome home hug?" He asked softly. Tears welled up in Dot's eyes as she dropped the gun and threw herself into her much missed brother's arms.

"Oh Enzo I missed you so much! I was all alone again. I thought you were del.. delt.." But she was cut off.

"Shh sis I know and I'm so sorry I left you, but I promise to never do that again."

"Hi Dot!" A sweet familiar voice sounded.

"AndrAIa you're back too!" She said hugging her. "And look how beautiful you've grown up to be!" AndrAia just smiled as Enzo (now known as Matrix) put his arm around her.

Matrix took carefully took Dot's arm and told her, "We found someone else who wants to see you and missed you too." Dot froze in complete shock as Bob stepped out from the shadows. She gazed at him in pure disbelief. Bob walked closer to her and gently took her hand.

"Command.Com, Command.Com! Megabyte's forces have penetrated our defenses and entered your space. I repeat Megabyte's Forces have entered your spa...." And the message was over.

Dot quickly regained her composure trying to remove Bob from her mind, and walked over to Mouse.

"Cool sis your Command.Com?"

"That's right Matrix your sister has kept everyone here alive," replied Mouse for her.

After adjusting her microphone Dot said, "Ok Mouse patch me into the main system files."

"That won't be necessary Ms.Matrix." Sneered an evil voice.

"Megabyte! But how?" cried Dot.

"Like I told you 'You may have one some battles, but I will win the war.'"

"Not if we can help it!" yelled Matrix, AndrAIa, and Bob.

"So Guardian you escaped the Web? By the way how was your little shall we say trip?" taunted Megabyte. He then snapped his fingers and they were all attacked by his troops. They all began fighting fiercely until they heard:

"Warning Incoming Game, Warning Incoming Game."

"Dot let the user win! Allow no one to go into the game!" yelled Bob.

"But why?" Cried Dot.

"The system will crash and hopefully restart again!" All of Megabyte's "troops" heard this and scampered off. All of the Mainframers looked at each other knowing what would happen if the system didn't restart. Bob and Dot's eyes met and they gazed longingly at each other. Bob began to advance in her direction.

All of a sudden Megabyte appeared behind Bob, and catching him off guard, fired an infection blast at Bob.

"Bob look out!" screamed Dot pushing him out of the way and taking the blast square in the chest.

"Pity, pity," said Megabyte. And then Matrix, seeing what had happened, jumped him and they began to fight.Bob watched Dot hit the ground in horror. He ran over to her and hugged her body, pulling her close to him. She was flickering slowly now as the infection had started taking effect.

"Dot, Dot why did you do that?" sobbed Bob. Dot looked into his sincere brown eyes that displayed love and replied:

"Bob I love you."

"Oh Dot I love you too and I'm so sorry if only I had seen it coming."

"Shhh Bob don't blame yourself Mainframe needs you. Your our Guardian,"

" Dot I need you. We all need you."

Dot began crying and gasping in pain as tears streamed down her flawless green skin, but she continued, " Bob when you left me I was so heart broken. And then Enzo left me and I felt all alone. " She sucked in a shaky breath and Bob softly kissed her cheek. "I was so afraid Bob, I was so scared." And the damn broke. All the emotions she had held were released. She began to sob uncontrollably as Bob held her dying body.

"Shhh I know Dot I was afraid too. I lost you once and I don't wanna lose you again." He caressed her hair and cupped her face in his hands. He kissed away her tears and as their tears mixed their bodies began to glow a soft gold. Neither of them noticed for Dot's face was getting paler and she was beginning to flicker more often.

"Dot I love your bravery, your strength, your compassion, your soul, and most of all I love you. You will never know how much I love you and will always love you. Now and Forever.” And with those last words he kissed her red lips softly and it then deepened it into a passionate one.

Their bodies were glowing a brilliant gold now, that illuminated the entire system. Everyone had turned and had been watching the two lovers. Matrix was solemn and bitterly sad as he held the now crying AndrAIa.

"System Crash, System Crash," was the last thing they heard. And Bob holding Dot, sobbing, was the last thing they saw.

"System Restart, system restart."

Everyone opened their eyes to find Mainframe and all its citizens fully restored. Dot and Bob opened their eyes and seeing both we alive and well, they locked in a tender embrace.

“Dot?"

"Yes, Bob?"

"Don't you ever scare me like that again." He said smiling down at her. All of a sudden the group ran over and Enzo and AndrAIa, now back to their former selves, cried,

"Hey Bob and Dot let's go see if the Diner's back!!!" Dot looked at Bob. And Bob looked at Dot. Bob then said,

"You know Enzo I think we've seen enough action today." And the two love birds became lost in a kiss. Enzo felt something peck him on the cheek and he turned to a blushing AndrAIa. He smiled,

"You know what Bob, I think your right...."
