What is Mane Attraction?

Mane Attraction Rodeo Performance Team is a group of women who dedicate their time and energy to the enrichment of precision drill maneuvers.  The team, based in Lane County, Oregon, was started in 1994 and performs at rodeos, competes at drill competitions and ride in parades throughout Oregon, Washington and Nevada.

One of the regular performances include the Salem Rodeo.  Competition placings for recent years were:

2nd-Freestyle

Mane Attraction donates a portion of their fundraisers and their time to The Emerald Valley Special Olympics, which contributes to the physical, social and psychological development of people with mental retardation.

Sponsored by Double H Western Wear in Salem, Bob Dickman/Les Schwab Tires, Barncraft Building Supply in Junction City and Coastal Farm Supply, these women are committed individuals who, as experienced riders, have come together to enjoy the sport of drill and to give joy to the spectators who view their performances.
