Rima Kallingal was the first runner up to the 2008 Miss Kerala event. A talented professional dancer and above all, she has a great smile. Rima Kallingal stole the show at the Miss Kerala 2008 pageant by winning titles such as Miss Talented, Miss Photogenic, Miss Beautiful Eyes and Miss Voice.

She has debuted in the malayalam films through the movie 'Rithu' which was directed by Shyamaprasad.Also she is selected for a heroine role in a tamil Movie ‘Mazhai Vara Mokithu’ of lal Jose and that may be her debut movie in Tamil. Rima also will be the heroine for movie "Unnai santhippa pothu".

Another movies which features Rima in some important role includes new Shaji Kailas movie ‘Reghupathy Raghava Rajaram’ which will feature Prithviraj in triple roles.
