Learnt a valuable lessong from the SNDK short. Tried to short an uptrend again. Dont do it on high volatility stocks unless the stock is trading sideways and not in a trending mode (SNDK is in a strong uptrend - making higher lows and higher highs). The trend is your friend and buy on the dips in an uptrend. So simple yet so difficult to follow. To add insult to injury the day after I covered my short, the market moved sharply lower. Would/Could/should have been able to get out with a much smaller loss which is what I was looking for anyway. The KOSP trade while profitable was disappointing as well. Shorted a retracement in a very strong downtrend but was quick to take my profits. A thousand bucks in a few minutes of profit left on the table.
