Look What The Cat Dragged In - 1986. Poisons
first release way back in 1986 you could tell this was a band destined to
go far. With classic tracks such as Talk Dirty To Me and I Won't Forget
You this was an impressive debut album. |
 |
Open Up And Say...Ahh! - 1988. Second albums are
notoriously difficult but Poison came through with flying colours with
this one. Highlights include the career building Every Rose Has It's Thorn
and Nothin' But A Good Time you just can't go wrong. |
 |
|
Flesh & Blood - 1990. Possibly still
Poison's finest album to date this seminal album saw the band begin to
edge away from the glam rock look of earlier albums. Hits include the
soul-searing Life Goes On and Unskinny Bop. |
 |
|
Swallow This Live - 1991. This was the first
live album Poison recorded and it's a double album. With all the earlier
hits as well as the new songs from the Flesh & Blood album this album
has a good range of songs performed well. Add to that 4 bonus studio
tracks and this is just a spot on live album. |
 |
|
Native Tongue - 1993. With C.C Deville gone
this was always going to be a difficult album for the band to make.
Ritchie Kotzen, the new axe-slinger, did a good job but this was never
classic Poison. A much bluesier, rootsy album still with songs like Until
You Suffer Some (Fire And Ice) and Aint That The Truth this isn't a bad
album!! |
 |
|
Greatest Hits - 1996. With nobody quite sure
what was going to happen to Poison what better time to bring out a
greatest hits album? This is a good, solid collection of their hits from
the first four albums and with the added attraction of two songs of the
new (and not looking likely to be released at the time) album. |
 |
|
Crack A Smile... And More! - 2000. This album,
recorded around `96 never looked like being released. Eventually though common
sense won out and here it is! Definitely worth the wait, this ranks
alongside Flesh & Blood as Poison's best album. Yet another new guitar
player, Blues Saraceno, the band were back to their best. Top tracks
include Lay Your Body Down and Cover Of The Rolling Stone. |
 |
|
Power To The People - 2000. C.C Deville is back! This was the moment all
true Poison fans were waiting for. This album consists of 5 new studio
tracks and the CD is completed with live tracks taken from the 1999
reunion tour. The new tracks show a more modern approach from the band and
it rocks! Long live Poison! |
