A JOURNEY THRU THE YEARS
Hi my name is Mar married to the same great guy for 64 years. We have 3 great kids all married now & on their own. Also have 5 grand-kids & 3 great-grand-kids& 1 great-great-grand-kid. My husband is a retired Army Ist Sgt.
We traveled out West a lot.Our one son & family live in Colorado. When we went to visit them we would take a different rte each time.We seen all the canyons. They sure are beautiful. We took a boat ride on Lake Powell up to Rainbow Bridge.Crossed over the London Bridge at Lake Havasu.
On another trip we went to Mesa Verde and seen the Cliff Dwellings. From there we went to Durango and took a train ride to Silverton and back, that was a thrill ride. Then we drove the Million Dollar Highway from Durango to Ouray,a road with nothing but curves & bends and hanging on the edge of the Mountain. It is something we`ll never forget, but never had the guts to go back to it.
There sure are a lot of places to visit out west. We`ve been to Yellowstone Nat.Park, seen the Geisors, the Mud Pots and Mammath Hot Springs.
On another trip we went to Mt Rushmore and tour the Black Hills and the Bad Lands of N.& S Dakota where we seen a lot of Prairie Dogs they sure are cute.
On another trip we went to Michigan & toured a Kellog factory and seen how they made cereal & boxed it.Then we went on to Mackinac Island. No cars are allowed there. The transportation is by Horse & Carriage. They make the best fudge there. It is a very interesting place to visit. We then went to Sault Ste Marie and had a boat ride thru the Soo Locks. That was interesting to see how the locks work.
From there we went to Thrunder Bay where we picked the Canadian Trans Continental. Highway. We went as far as Alberta when it started to snow so we headed south to Boulder Colorado where we visited our son and Family for a few days then headed back to Sunny Florida .

This is my first homepage, not making much progress. It won`t do what I want it to do.If only I had a brain,I type with one finger, that`s the only way I know how.My education has been thru the school of hard knocks.Never thought I`d be useing a PC and I am having a lot of fun learning for a 79yr old (now 80Yr)(81yr)(82yr)(83yr)(84yr)Time sure does fly.But it seems the more I learn the more I have to learn. My trouble is I forget more than I can remember. My Motto if at first you don`t succeed, try ,try again. When I look at other pages I think I should just stick to surfing the web.I am starting to get the hang of things.
