This is an enhancement of the 4th MOC image in this series. The light image is darkened with a gamma correction. In the lower right corner we see these odd linear features resembling "tracks" radiating out from a small crater. The small crater is about 41m (135') in diameter. Here's another look. |
We can't tell what caused the linear features,
but we have not seen similar features elsewhere on Mars.
It is possible, perhaps, that they resulted from debris being thrown from the impact site. |
