Enhancements

To me, this resembles a peninsula with a dike or breakwater around it.  These "breakwater" structures are interestingly regular, straight, flat, and even.  The right angles are also quite striking.  There is a lot of interesting texture and detail here. 

The area a little to the south continues the same pattern:

If this is not a breakwater, what natural process could have formed these striking shapes? 

Also, notice some interesting "lakes" up on the highland, with flat smooth bottoms and eroded sloping sides.
