"Marvin"
Because of space and bandwidth limitations, most MP3 sound files are served from my Epizy site.
Released in 1981 by Polydor as a vinyl single, "Marvin" rocketed to number 53 in the United Kingdom singles chart, where it stayed for not very long at all. An MP3 sound file of the "A" side (2.8 MBytes) is available, as are the lyrics. Marvin is played by the late Stephen Moore.
The "B" side of the vinyl single was called "Metal Man". An MP3 sound file of the "B" side (3.1 MBytes) is available, as are the lyrics. Both Marvin and the starship captain are played by the late Stephen Moore.
People have reported difficulty listening to the MP3 sound files using the Netscape browser, but no difficulty when using Internet Explorer.
Images of the front (0.27 MBytes) and of the back (0.19 MBytes) of the sleeve are also available.
The sound files and images of the sleeve are being made available free of charge because there isn't any way to purchase the record in the shops. Many thanks to Alan Mulvie for scanning the record sleeve and producing the MP3 sound files.
