Sorry I haven't updated the site in awhile, but I've got some good stuff for you tonight. I got this email today I thought you might all be interested in:

'Just wanted to let you know that John Mayer is featured in the upcoming issue of Blender in a monthly section called, "Dear Superstar: John Mayer."
This guitar-pop heartthrob leaves nothing to the imagination when he answers readers questions in the December issue.  Find out if John Mayer flirts with Justin Timberlake and if Heidi Klum and Jennifer Love Hewitt adore his giant, fat head. From his weird facial expressions, to what song he recommends getting freaky to, Blender gets to know this bona fide superstar.'

It sounds pretty cool, so I thought I'd let you all know about it!

And on a side note, one of my good friends told me this quote that made me think:

"Anybody can think they're in love when they're with someone special. But they're not. They only think they're in love. Really being in love is what happens after you break-up, and you're cleaning up the pieces. "

Wow, I thought it was a pretty interesting perspective you all might be interested to hear. Yes, I myself am trying my best to get myself 'out of love'. If anyone has any advice, feel free to share!

Anways,  that's about it. Sorry about not posting to let people know John would be on Austin City Limits this past Saturday night. For anyone who caught it though, you know what I mean when I say it was amazing!

talk to you all soon!

Just received my l-83 membership package yesterday! Amazingly it seems true that if you forget about it, it seems to come...magically!

Hey everybody,

I was on Mtv.com and I saw this of Frankie Muniz's profile:

"I am a huge John Mayer fan and when I was filming a movie in Vancouver he was playing up there I got backstage passes and sat ON STAGE when he played. It was amazing and I've now been to 4 other john mayer shows. "

This makes me like him even more!

hey you all,

I joined the John Mayer Local-83 fan club awhile ago, and I have to admit it's not half-bad. (by the way, my screen name on L83 is jmgirl) You get updates before anyone else, discounts on tickets; and most of all, you get to interact with some pretty cool fans. A lot of people complain about the lack of tickets through L83, or how slow it takes to get your membership package; but all I have to say is 'remember why you joined in the first place.' I'm assuming it's because they love John's music and feel enough of a connection with him to join a fan club; let alone pay to join a fan club. Their complaints are not without reason though. There is a lack of tickets and problems with the membership package. All you have to remember is that it's a new thing. Local-83 is new and still smoothing out some bumps. I mean no offense to the L83 people at all.

Another thing on my mind...why was John named 'one of the fugliest men in rock and roll' by MTV and Stuff magazine? Are they seeing the same John we all know and love? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion; but as I watched the show I realized everything they said was 'fugly' about him, we all seem to love. They commented on his guitar faces, and lips, and other things but I can't really remember. All I know is that all the people who voiced their opinion on the show never (that I remember) said anything bad about his music; most praised it. So I ask the question... why do they care about how he looks if they already like his music? (You can catch the MTV and Stuff magazine's presentation of the fugliest in rock & roll on MTV2 and judge for yourself)       -Mollie
