Mild mannered Greens MP Nandor Tanczos was cycling to Parliament one Thursday afternoon when Fate dealt him an unexpected hand. Tanczos' arch-nemesis, the nefarious Dr Capill, lurked in the shadows not far from the Beehive. He lay in wait, plotting to use his dastardly new secret weapon on the unsuspecting Nandor. This new weapon, years in development, was none other than the Credibility Diminisher, a potent weapon against which there is no defence. All it takes is one direct hit, and on every occasion from that time onwards the target will be made to appear larger than life when portrayed in the media. As his victim approached, Dr Capill took aim. Soon Nandor was in range....

Nandor Tanczos, mild mannered Greens MP....But in the media, he took on super powers. Faster than a packet of amphetamines, more powerful than a logger's bulldozer, able to leap hemp plantations in a single bound. Look! On the news - it's a bird - it's a plane - it's TOKEMAN!
