The National Medical University has the honour of receiving the valuable assistance of WHO, a specialised organization of UN, in improving the quality of learning research studies and the material supply of the University. In the 30 years of collaborating together with WHO, it has sent its representatives to this university.
They have helped in working out and realising more than 60 recommendations, developing the study programm of the RPD project, supplying up-to date training and research equipment’s and audio-visual aids, with 5 million tugrics, qualifying multiprofessional education for health personnel, and expanding research experience. From the first year of the foundation of the medical university every year 3-4 teachers have been sent abroad through WHO. Scholarships, have been for 1 year 5 month for each. It has been an important controbution to the improvement of quality of training and research work.  From the first day its foundation of the medical university teachers’s and professor’s with high qualification of the former Soviet Union rendered disinterested assistance to the whole work of training educational work and research studies.  According to the collaboration with other countries, the National Medical University has received foreign students and post graduates for studying and improving their knowledge and qualification.
