This recipe was given to me some years ago. It came from an old-fashioned concoction for burns, skin infections and just about anything external (except for around the eyes and other places your mother warned you about). As with any medicinal product please consult your physician about any of the contents of this salve before use. The author assumes no responsibility of misuse or allergic reactions with this product. Use at your own risk. Healing Salve 3 quarts sweet oil 3 oz. pine tar resin 3 oz. beeswax Melt together: Then add 1 pound of sulphur Heat together. When nearly cold, add a piece of camphor gum.
