Hmmm...well, I believe that
everyone (human or not) has several layers to their psyche and as such,
several different aspects of their personality-the shy, quiet side; the
bold, outspoken side; the violent, angry side; etc. BUT, I think that when
asking about the "beast" or the "hunger" of a vampire, it is an additional
step to this normal division of self...for myself at least, I know that
my bloodthirst has a voice of it's own; it sings when well-fed and screams
when hungry. Whatever 'it' is that makes me a vampire speaks to me from
within me-both as my own thoughts and that of it's own. It's very hard
to describe...I don't know that this will make any sense, but this is how
it is with me (and several others that I know personally) It sounds weird
and wrong how I'm writing it, but maybe it will make sense?
